Single Tooth Implant

There is no better, long-lasting option to restoring a missing tooth than a single tooth implant implant fitted with a crown.

Traditional replacement of a single tooth using a dental implant is often completed over multiple visits:

Consultation and planning, including initial exam, imaging of your teeth, questions about your dental and medical history, and discussion of your treatment options.

Placement of the dental implant, a substitute for the missing natural tooth root, either with or without a built-in abutment (a connector placed on, or built into, the top of the implant) that will attach to the replacement tooth. A temporary tooth can be placed while the dental implant integrates with your natural bone to form a strong foundation for your replacement tooth. Most people return to work the next day.

Placement of the abutment, if one wasn’t placed during the prior visit.

Placement of a custom-made crown, or replacement tooth.

Invisalign

Invisalign

Achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life.

While there are other options out there for straightening your teeth, none offers the level of comfort, convenience and confidence that you’ll find with Invisalign. And no matter what stage you’re at in life, you’ll appreciate how our cutting-edge approach to treatment has minimal interference in how you live, but has a significant positive impact on how you look and feel about yourself.

How Invisalign Works

Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.

IV Sleep Sedation

Smoler Smiles provides IV Sleep Sedation for the most comfortable and pain-free implant procedures available.

In fact, not only do they offer pain free local anesthetic or Nitrous Oxide, but also oral and IV sedation. For patients that are looking for a more relaxed procedure or want to accomplish years worth of dentistry in a single visit, then IV Sleep Sedation may be the solution you are looking for.

While most dentists can administer minimal sedation such as nitrous oxide or oral sedation, only 4% of all General Dentists nationally can offer more complex techniques such as IV conscious sedation procedures.

A dentist who is IV certified and licensed to administer IV sedation has received additional specialty training and has been legally certified by the states Board of Dental Examiners.

At Smoler Smiles, Dr.Bruce Smoler is part of the 4% of General Dentists nationally who is licensed to perform IV conscious sedation dentistry. Receiving his certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by completing 80 plus hours of coursework and training, and 20 supervised IV patients Dr.Bruce Smoler far exceeds the standard guidelines of 60 hours.

In addition to Dr.Bruce Smoler being IV sedation certified Dentist, we also have a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to perform your IV sedation to ensure you will be monitored carefully throughout the entire procedure.
